How ya doing? In case folks were wondering, my bestie and I got 8th place in trivia last week. I never said we were geniuses!
Yesterday, I spent my day off at the movies (duh) and walked around my favorite neighborhood. At around 5 PM, I noticed the sun hadn’t set yet! It’s so fun seeing the days get longer and longer. I’m not someone who is begging for summer, but I love this time of year. I love it when the days are chilly, but the sun shines. Something I want to be better about is taking advantage of the longer days. Although it may be in the single digits outside, as the Swedes say, “there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”

Marcello Hernandez took the internet by storm a few months ago with the Direct From Domingo sketch. For the SNL50 celebration, the comic ran it back, but with some surprise guests. Instead of Ariana Grande singing a rendition of Espresso, the sketch features Sabrina Carpenter singing a rendition of Defying Gravity. This time, Ronaldo, played by Pedro Pascal, interrupts the song. I don’t want to spoil the sketch, so I won’t say more, but you should absolutely watch for more surprises!
I re-watched The Other Woman with my roommates, and I forgot how hilarious that movie is. Carly (Cameron Diaz) thinks she’s met her soulmate. Mark is smooth-talking and handsome and rich. Two months into their relationship, Carly decides to surprise Mark at home in a sexy plumber outfit. When she arrives to…clear his pipes, Kate (Leslie Mann), Mark’s long-term wife, answers the door. The two had no idea the other existed, so they pair up to take him down. It’s the perfect movie for your next girls’ night!
