Quitting Your Job, Task Paralysis, RHOA Peaches
Hi friends,
How are ya? I’m feeling great because I am back in my New York groove. It was amazing being in Florida, visiting family and seeing my high school besties. My cup is overflowing with all the love I have for my hometown. It’s hard having pieces of my heart in different places and constantly saying goodbye. Anyone else get the biggest pangs when you say goodbye to your family?
On the other hand, flying back into New York is the best feeling. The city looks gorgeous from the sky, and then I get back to my neighborhood, and I feel like myself again. I missed my bed, my grocery store, and even my train ride into the office. I’m sure a few months from now, when New York is too hot and my AC is broken, I’ll be looking at flights and I’ll repeat this cycle all over again.
In today’s newsletter, we’ll talk about overcoming task paralysis, March Madness brackets, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Let’s get into it!

If you’re as online as I am, there’s no corner of the internet where you don’t hear a joke or shady moment from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I don’t think the realityshow gets the recognition it deserves in the Housewives Hall of Fame, but those women have shaped the culture. You can find their most hilarious moments here. The show started in 2008 and has been going strong ever since. The new season premiered a few weeks ago, and it’s just as shady and funny as ever. It’s streaming on Peacock!
Being home means convincing my family to go to the movies with me. This time, I took my mom to see Black Bag. The movie is a spy thriller and, from my perspective, a love story. Michael Fassbender (George) plays a spy who is married to another spy played by Cate Blanchett (Kathryn). When Kathryn is suspected of betraying the United Kingdom, George has to choose between his loyalty to his wife and loyalty to his country. It received very positive reviews from my mother, so I highly recommend!
